Most of us work during the weekend! This is a group for those of you whom love the outdoors and love to hike and camp but only have the weekends to do so. Well, although some day hikes will be posted most will consist of overnight to multi day trips ranging from the northern sierras to Joshua tree through all four seasons. I am starting this group for people who want to get out and backpack.  We will be doing some over night trips, weekend trips and a few long distance multi-day through trips.   I encourage people of all levels to join.  We will be planning trips for the newbie and those who have not been backpacking in a long time.
