This group is for those interested in overnight expeditions in the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains.  Although these will primarily be weekend backpacking trips, some trips will use ATVs, 4x4s or snowmobiles. Slalom Gates Ski Club is a non-profit, recreational club run by volunteers with a primary emphasis on skiing. Our group also enjoys most winter and summer activities.  We have been in existence for over 20 years and have a small but dedicated group of members (about 150).
